The Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve's Coastal Training Program and Coastal Wildscapes will be conducting a one day conference on applying ourselves to the enhancement and protection of coastal biodiversity and native ecosystems in our gardens and neighborhoods.  You are invited to join us and become informed and inspired on what individual gardners, developers, landscape architects and planners can do to protect and conserve our vital biological diversity.

The conference will be at the Richmond Hill City Center, 9 AM - 2 PM with a native plants sale, book signings and art available from 2-4 PM.  The speakers are Christi Lambert (Georgia Marine and Freshwater  Conservation Director with The Nature Conservancy), Philip Juras (Georgia artist and landscape historian), Thomas Angell (Savannah born, landscape architect), and Sharman Apt Russell (noted author).
